Only a fool would think he is not gonna pass a physical. He passed it last season and he didnt hurt the shoulder again so why wouldnt he this season? Because of the foot??

you think he told the truth to kia about the baby he was having with thotty?  is that why they're in a not so pretty legal battle?    didn't he make a video where he giggled and then explained how he lied to the coach and trainers?

There's been some pretty heated discussion in the midst of this losing the last several months. But generally few take it to this level. Obsessing over his personal life and calling him a liar is petty to say the least.

Agreed.  No reason to make personal attacks.  Cam has given his all to this team.

Weighing in, I think anyone here, whether pro-Cam or anti-Cam, is really just speculating based on emotion.

There are compelling and rational reasons to keep Cam, and there are rational reasons to let him walk. "Why would we let him walk?" Because the brand new coaching staff and relatively new owner want to reset things with their own guy. That's a pretty easy concept to understand. You might not like it, but it's easy to understand, and very rational considering they're a new staff who gave already broken off from some of "the old" already.

That's it!

This is not necessarily about Juan or the media stirring the pot, it's about speculating on a notable refusal of a GM to not even attempt to shoot the regular sunshine up our collective asses with GM-speak.

Regardless of how you spin it, nobody outside of Tepper, Rhule & perhaps a couple of others really knows anything. Speculation either way, especially that Cam may be in his last days as a Panther, is quite compelling in my opinion.

"Perhaps Hurney's decision not to comment isn't rooted in cloak-and-dagger politics. Maybe that decision will ultimately be out of his hands, so why bother remarking? Yet, it's hard to read a GM refusing to comment about a starting QB without raising an eyebrow like you're imitating The Rock.

"Generally these types of interviews are all blustery smoke. With the GM saying things like, "We love QB X. He's a great player. He's rehabbing, and we're planning for him to be fully recovered this offseason." Even if they plan to move on later, the hot air fills the void with moisture that is easily brushed past down the road."

This isn't rocket science. This thing could go either way, but it's kinda looking like the needle isn't exactly in the middle.

I really think the people who might think that moving on from Cam is the best move are not against Cam--but the pro-Cam crowd fail to see it.  In sports these days, with fantasy football and so much media exposure, there are more fans that support players more and teams less than before.  I know people who have been Cleveland, Miami, Cleveland, and now they are Laker fans.  Not saying that is true for all Cam supporters, but the "Anti-Cam" crowd  (I am in that category, I suppose) want to see a QB grow in the new system.

Tepper was a Steeler fan as a teenager in Pittsburgh, and they drafted Bradshaw in 1970 or so, a rookie that went on to throw 24 interceptions vs. 6 TDs and complete 38% of his passes.  A 31-year old Cam would have indeed been better in 1970--but they would never have won 4 Super Bowls with Cam moving forward from there. As the team improved, Cam would have declined--the result would have been mediocrity.
