He's physically in another class than KB and is nothing like him, we don't have to make bad comparisons to disagree with the pick lol

Lol. No kidding. 6’3” 207, 4.38 vs 6’5” 240, 4.61. KB is not even close to who I would have compared him to at all.

Can someone name once, just one time these pre draft rumors of what we are going to do actually came true in year’s past?

In the last four years Zod and RR where money in the bank with their predictions. This year they where off.

Think that means Marty boy isn’t in control and maybe the source isn’t as good? Maybe the new guys are driving it now. I sure can’t complain about day 2 so far compared to the last two years pretty much hating the picks.

I think its mainly due the 19 effect and the HUGE turn over in staff. Rhule hired a few Baylor guys for sports science, finance, and team operations. Once RR had the information so did one of the beat reporters, same names too. Next year I will ask RR and Zod, that was one "miss" out of a few "rights" in something that near impossible to predict.   I like this years 2nd far more than 180 LBs donte jackson. I didnt hate the Little pick, I still got hope for him.

I hated it. I wanted McCoy who could start at LG and takeover at C. @ncfan wanted Risner. Jenkins would have been there at 37 too. Little would have been there at 47 or later. He looked awful at the combine, worst movement skills of any OL during the non-measurement drills. To think we could have had McCoy and Bobby Evans (RT/G) instead of Little hurts. Our OL would be so much better right now.

How was RR off?

He was spot on

He did say "if" they trade back it would be Henderson and lamb in that order. I mean they didnt trade back, so.... Did he say anything thing else, I still believe hes got legit sources.

    • If you want attention to something, I feel like the report button works better than just saying mods in the thread.  I assume it sends them an alert, as I doubt they just continuously watch this place.   Just trying to help, if you actually see something somewhere that needs intervention or you feel this does.
    • Yes, in the absence of your big brain, those points have been discussed ad nauseum around here. Most stable individuals can see that the org sucks since Tepper took over. We can’t change that fact so we debate Bryce’s viability as a QB into oblivion. Bryce has shown the occasional flash but it is year 3 and decisions have to be made. I personally don’t think he’s cut out for this but as a fan of the Panthers I hope that somehow it works.
    • I agree that perspective is important.  I also think that it's fine to take the wins when you can.  So the Panthers have started playing a lot better against bad teams after the first couple of weeks.  Cool, I'll take that.  Will it continue?  I don't know.  The Jets could be the uber trap/Steve Wilks revenge buzzsaw that sucks all the life and wind out of us.  Or we could beat them and the narrative still wouldn't change because they are a really bad team. Here's my long perspective:  We've been one of the worst teams since we traded for Bryce - talent level, wins, etc.  Any metric will show that.  This year, we are improving.  Maybe we're not bottom tier trash.  Maybe we're just to below average.  That's growth as far as I'm concerned.  I'll take that.
