Are you really a fan?

I attended ECU the year we won the Peach Bowl against NC State. All year we all had signs that read WE BELIEVE! And it was true. All of you fans that are being negative, you disgust me. A real fan stays positive, whatever it takes and whatever the circumstance. Do you not remember how little fun we had last year. This year has been AWESOME so far. No one is going to win everything, yes I have been pretty down all day today, but yet part of me still wants to yell WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO, Panthers are kicking A*s this year. Jeez, the running game, Jakes back, Moose is back, Peppers is back, Strewart Rocks, Beason is the man, what do you want Perfection. Games like last night will only make us stronger. There are 4 or 5 more game left in the season if you can see the lights of the Super Bowl. I truly believe this is a GREAT team this year. No one is calling for us to go to the Super Bowl and thats what we need, to fly under the radar.

Believe in your team, acknowledge the bad but focus on the good and always carry a sign in your heart that reads "WE BELIEVE", I do Go Panthers My family and I love you.

I stoped reading after you started the "real fans do this blah blah blah" bullshit.

Nothing is wrong with being positive.

Telling people how to behave and base that on your own narrow belief of what makes a true fan vs a non-true fan is.

i agree with this sentiment. same thing can be said for being negative as well.

those that think that fans need to be pissed off and feeling that the sky is falling or has already fallen and fake fans are the ones who see that there is some light shining through the clouds.

for us non real fans that are pissed off every time we lose because we have a competitive spirit.

i'm sorry for not being happy our team basically gave the giants the game(not taking anything away from the giants)

your probably the type of person who would let a guy piss in his face while smiling and yelling whooooohoooo!

sorry i'm not that guy........

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
