We tried to trade him. We didn't find a market. Bill Belichick is just smarter than everyone else. Tepper may be the big dog in the financial world but everyone has been playing second fiddle to Belichick for years in football and Belichick rosined up his bow on Tepper's ass on that Cam deal.

Cam was contractually obligated to play if healthy. He could have solidified his value by just putting him on the field. Did not, thus no value, nothing in return.

Last December there were more 22 and 59 jerseys in the crowd than there were Cam jerseys. I've seen more Luke jerseys at games for probably the last three years or so.

I'm not surprised that people were wearing other jerseys after Cam had been on IR for nearly the entire season. Let's be honest though, in last December there were probably more jerseys for our opponent's players than for Panthers.

The Panthers have always had a small fan base, and a lot of them are fair weather fans. The last time I attended a Panthers game there was a guy with a Russel Wilson jersey in front of me, and a GB packers fan behind me. We weren't playing either team.

Cam was amazing to watch in person. Just watching someone that big move that fast and fly through the air was something I'll never see again on the football field in my life. He got sent out with the trash and a text. Now we have short chubby Rhule annoying our second rate players with country music and TB at QB. Is anyone shocked that fans are disappointed and lacking enthusiasm?

Bad times for Panther marketing. Cam fans gone which was probably close to half of the ‘fanbase’ and that means gear sales in general down. Fan favorites like Olsen and Luke gone. New coach no casual fan knows anything about, probably same with QB too. COVID, a NFL record setting awful pst few years....

I Mean the only thing to really market is CMC. I’m surprised they didn’t do some sort of logo/color/design change, nothing big...but something.
 

I can’t imagine any profits coming from any angle besides long term hardcore fans. If this franchise doesn’t figure out how to win and be successful it’s going to go downhill quick.
