185,000+ people were going to die soon? Are you referring to pre existing conditions (which over half Americans have) and old age? Many people have lost friends and family over this, try not to be so dismissive about it because of politics.

Why exactly should they be grateful? We sit here and watch other countries get their outbreaks under control while people here bitch and moan about a piece of fabric around their mouths. This attitude has led to us being the country with the most deaths and many (including quite possibly this person’s uncle) could have been avoided if we simply showed a little compassion. No one should be grateful or satisfied with the way things are. We should expect better...
