Lack of offensive holding calls this season

Is it just me, or has there been almost ZERO offensive holding calls this year?  Like, did the NFL get together and tell Refs to not call offensive holding at all?  There has been about 4x more Defensive holding calls that I can remember than Offensive holding calls.  That is just completely out of whack.  I noticed at least half a dozen BLATANT holding calls against Atlanta last night that were ignored.  I dont remember Atlanta getting one, single Offensive holding call all game, or the Saints for that matter.

WTF is going on?  Is this a scheme by Goodell to get offensive numbers up to bring viewers back after all the bad press lately?

The league is deliberately dialing down on penalties in general, but especially offensive penalties.

They want more scoring.

    • This guy pre-draft was saying he could take or leave football, and he seems to have been playing with that mentality ever since lol.
    • Agreed, another safety would be nice. Bud Clark, TCU, is one I would like to see us take a flyer on later in the draft, if he stays healthy and we don't take someone earlier. I just really hope we draft a solid C this year. Tired of seeing us cycle through average to below average players in that area.

So you see him throw a lot of dump offs, swing routes, short side out routes, comebacks or deep balls outside the numbers using the boundary as protection of an interception.    Pretty easy for a NFL defense to see this and scheme against it.  All you have to do is run a shell cover 2 deep dime, LB plays a hook underneath, take the flat away with a blitz/flat zone option for the two inside DB's, outside two DB's play hook zone underneath and carry anything deep.    Pretty much what NO ran to take away Rico while also limiting What Bryce can do as well.
