Injury update vs. Bucs

OUT: RB Reggie Bonnafon, RB Christian McCaffrey, OT Russell Okung, DE Stephen Weatherly

QUESTIONABLE: DE Yetur Gross-Matos (ankle), DE Marquis Haynes, CB Donte Jackson (toe), DE Austin Larkin (groin).

 

 

Reggie has an ankle problem.  Hate the timing, would have loved to see him get some snaps.

This will be the fifth game LT Russell Okung has missed since the Panthers traded Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner to the Chargers to get him. To be fair Turner has played only one game due to injuries. Bototm line, it's hard to imagine the Panthers moving forward with a new deal for Okung after this season despite his strong leadership qualities

Don't look for the Panthers to have DE Stephen Weatherly back anytime soon. Coach Matt Rhule said the veteran will be out for a while with a finger injury. Time to develop second-round pick Yetur Gross-Matos.
