I'm really jealous of what Beane has done in Buffalo

The Bills have not only drafted well but also added players at reasonable amounts to make their team extremely balanced. Richardson had a chance to make this man our GM. Instead he hired the two worst GMs in the league. Hopefully Tepper will get his head out of his ass and fire a bunch of people in the FO. Our personal department absolutely sucks.

It's as much McDermott as it is Beane.

His first season there, he put together a kick ass coaching staff that made me jealous. They've evolved some since then but are still looking pretty good.

McDermott has done awesome like I knew he would. He was a great hire by Hurney who brought him in after Rivera couldn't get Wilks who was a way worse DC. Still Beane has kept the cap managed and found great players in areas that isn't McDermotts area. They will win a SB you can just see it.

We all should be. They basically took everything we did right and refined it while getting rid of the BS. They are what we should be. Good for them. LOL @ us. As John Fox would say, it is what it is.

Well it just goes to show how much of a trash organization we are. We picked Gentleman over a franchise GM. I mean we replaced trash with more trash only to go back to the trashcan when we needed a new GM. Like just how terrible are we. Even Tepper should see that but nope.

The Pegulas bought the Bills in 2014. For the next three years, they ran a dysfunctional organization. The learning curve of a new NFL owner proved quite steep. Then they hired McDermott and Beane.

They also made the right choice for their QB in a 2018 draft loaded with QBs. They raised eyebrows with the selection of Allen who was considered more raw and more of a project than other QBs.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
