Predict the score tonight

Just curious, why do people keep predicting blowouts? In 13 weeks, what have you seen to keep predicting we'll get blown out every week? Our worst loss of the season against the Bucs, we lined up for a 2 point conversion with 11 minutes left in the game with a chance to make it a 7 point game, then it unraveled at the very end. We have never been dominated start to finish, not even close. Maybe it's funny and somehow makes you feel good to create the illusion that we're the Jets, but our identity has consistently been a scrappy competitive team with too much of a talent discrepancy to consistently win. I don't think we'll see anything different tonight. I'd be far less surprised if we win than if we get blown out. I'm guessing something like 34-24, where we come up short on a 4th quarter drive to tie it, and Green Bay kicks a meaningless field goal with like 90 seconds left to make it a 2 possession game.

If you're referring to me, I've only predicted three multiple score losses if memory serves. I believe I said 48-21 blowout to Tampa in the 2nd game, a 23-13 loss to Chicago and now 41-27 in this thread. I was pretty close on the first two.

You may not be talking about me, I just felt like I should respond since your post came directly after my prediction.

Nah was mostly just general commentary although the 42-10 and 48-17 at the time of my post probably were the main inspiration. I would consider your prediction reasonable and wouldn't be out of the realm of how our season has turned out, especially if it was a 1 score game for part of the 4th quarter.

I know there's been a lot of criticism about TB's check downs but without seen the entire field are we sure it's Teddy or are the route schemes are just not efficient enough to get our great WR's open.  I've seen some occasions where there were 2 and sometimes 3 receivers in the same area.  Anyone have any insight into this?

I think it's about TB's decision making. He has repeatedly made the easy completion instead of the riskier play. What is most telling about this is the 4th down play last week when he needed to throw past the first down to at least give us a chance but he threw it for 2 yards.
