Dan Conner at OLB.....would it work?

o well. I don't think Johnson is as bad as people make him out to be. He was a great LB at Cincy, but has been on the bench now because of our great lb core. Maybe he just needs to get a few games back in him.

landon johnson is an injury waiting to happen. he was one of the biggest wastes of money (on defense) that we have ever had.

dan conner can't play OLB

lol

I don't think they'll try him at OLB, he's Beason's backup and probably doesn't know the position. He also may not have the straight-line speed they want at the Will, but he has the quickness and smarts to be effective if he learns the position.

Curious to know why you say he can't play OLB. What are you basing that on? Given that he was the OLB for his first three years at Penn St., and he moved to MLB his senior year only because Poz was gone and he was the best LB on the roster, it seems like he could play there at this level. Is it all about straight-line speed?

if he's fast enough to play OLB in the big ten, that means he's roughly as fast as an nfl punter
