See, we were just talking about the NBA.

Can't tell me that this game wasn't fun to watch / exciting.

Definitely was, but it helps when you can invest time into following the specific players like I have with the Hornets to start this season. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely getting more into the NBA lately and have watched almost every Hornets game so far this season (bought NBA League Pass here in Boston for the first time). But it's less fun/exciting with other teams when the games don't mean that much in the regular season and you know it'll be the same exact teams in the mix in the playoffs... I do think it's been getting better in the past couple of years and if that trend continues I'll probably watch even more, but that's yet to be seen.

We don’t have anybody else...I’m wondering if it’s our scheme...we play too much zone...but that may be because we can’t guard anybody man to man

in any case, a much needed win...play them again tomorrow

Hypothetical trade time:

Hornets get: Myles Turner

Pacers get:  Cody Zeller, Graham and Charlotte first round pick next year

Any chance in hell that works?

The money works out, so the trade works under NBA cap rules.

Indiana gets cap relief in the form of Zeller's expiring and a young guard that can be a microwave scorer off the bench.  Hornets get a competent big man who can provide some rim protection and stretch the floor a bit (albeit on an inconsistent basis).  I think it's a win-win. Only question I'd have is whether the 1st round is too much for Charlotte to give up.  I'd try to do it with a 2nd rounder.  If the Pacers insist, make sure you've got good protection on the pick--lottery protected next year, top 10 the year after, etc.

Orlando shot almost 45% from 3 last night.  We need to do better than that tonight.  Really would love to see the crispy passing and multiple guys hitting from outside like we did in our short winning streak.

Hornets had a 30-15 lead with a minute to go in the first, but lead  30-19 after 1.  Hornets shooting 43% from the floor, and 36% from 3.

Orlando shooting 26% from the floor and 27 % from 3.

Playing with energy and charisma again, fun to watch.
