Rituals?

I got a orange Panther visor I bought that year at Clemson, I only wear it when I'm worried about a team blowing us out. Only game we ever lost when I wore it was to Seattle in the playoff's. I wore it this season for Cardinal's game cause I was scared they would kill us! I should have worn it last week, maybe we wouldn't have gave the Saint's 3 fumbles!

I had a ritual that I wiped my ass with my jersey whenever we lost...but umm that doesnt count does it?

My ritual starts I wake up and hit record on my DVR.

Then I drink about a gallon of water to kill the hangover.

After that I start drinking beer.

It worked really well last year. This year not so much.

Like many have said, do not wash the jersey after a win, and the same one gets worn the next game. After a loss, jersey gets washed, then the following Sunday I wear a different one (well, I alternate between my Harris and Hoover).

I also tend to drink lots of cold beer, but I don't change that habit based on a win or a loss... its just a given

I'm pretty superstitious regarding my Delhomme/Smith jerseys, and for a while it seemed the team wouldn't win if I didn't watch. But the randomness of this season has pretty much destroyed all of my superstitions, so now I'm going to just sit back and enjoy the games.

My friends and I used to...well they still do but then I realized...If I'm the one "making them win" why aren't I getting paid millions of dollars...

Also I'm going through an important time in my life...and at one point besides God and Family the Panthers were NUMBER ABSOLUTE ONE... but now I'm trying to calm that down because I shouldn't let their games (which I can't control) bring down my mood.

*Couldn't play the team we've faced or were facing on Madden.(SS)

*When talking to my father I had to avoid him asking about us (SS)

*Had to have Stephen Davis for Offense and Peppers Jersey for D on seat next to me during about the '05 season®

*COULDN'T THINK ABOUT THE HUDDLE DURING THE GAMES LIKE "I wonder what they'll say once we win"...It always resulted in us losing the lead (SS)

*Don't like to be messed with so if people talk to me I wouldn't say A WORD BACK(SS)

As you see that was BEYOND F*CKING RIDICULOUS...so now the only thing's I do is wear the jersey and hat...have my ball by my side and smack it when we need a big play or made a big play and wave a towel when we score.

I am with you. I used to wear my lucky Panthers boxers (have 3 pair) on Sunday, the jersey of the guy i wanted to do well that week, etc.

BUt after they all didn't work this year, I am saying to hell with it and not doing any rituals right now. The only ritual this year would be drink early and often because the tailgate may be the best part of the day.

I try to nail a super model the night before each game, and 2 if it's a home game. I will not comment on my success in these endeavors!
