JStew for a Good Young QB? Hells to the Yes.

No to trading JStew. Both he a Dwill seem to feed off of each other when one is playing better than the other. Their chemistry would be tough to duplicate

I disagree -- Sunday Williams was ripping it up. Every time Stewart came in it was less than stellar, hell even average.

I am not saying Stewart cant do it, cause HE CAN. But Williams does just fine by himself.

The only problem I see is that Goodson might not have 3 down back range if Williams was to go down.

Right now we have one hell of a backup plan, something the Fox has not done well with in the past.

How big is Sutton?

If he can play a powerback style of running then he can replace Stewart, and though he probably isn't as good or as fast he could be good enough. Especially if we had a real threat when it comes to the vertical passing game.

You know what pisses me off about Fox/Hurney more then anything is that if Jake is the best option we got don't you think QB takes precedence over DT? I like the Tank Tyler trade but wouldn't that pick (maybe coupled with another) would have been better spent on a guy like Thigpen or T Jackson. Both were attainable and both are young with starting experience with great potential and could be had cheap (at least as cheap as Tank). After the HT signing QB was the far bigger weakness but this I guess is why they will be looking for work before long.

also,

no salary cap = no football most likely

why is this so hard for people to understand

its not a lockout dude. Its not a strike.

Its a NO SALARY CAP.

The owners opted out of the current CBA- It expires, and then all current players will be locked down under current contracts with all FA's free to get what they can while owners are willing to pay.

It will let the owners set a Rookie minimum themselves at the draft and restructure how they have to play players own their own.

There is NO WAY the players will strike- they risk a hell of a lot greater LOSS than the owners do with a whole AFL league of backup players just scrapping to get back in the NFL.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
