i will say it one last time. If your QB is turning the ball over. you will not win. so what difference would it make. We would be scoring TDs, but still losing.

Of course except this one little tidbit.

Our QB turned the ball over like a Mofo last year, and we went 12-4.

Our run game is so strong that it can make up for shitty Jake as long as shitty Jake throws a TD sometimes.

Jake threw 15 TD's last year, and won't likely reach that mark this year. Jake being a threat is the biggest difference from last year to this year.

not true Jake only threw 12 interceptions in 16 games last year. He threw 7 of those in 2 games. There were 10 games that he did not throw an interception. and only 3 multiple interception games.

He had 5 fumbles and 3 lost, same as now as well.

Still *ONLY* 3 multiple INT games for a team that doesn't pass near as much as any other team should definitely set off a red flag.

That's way too much considering how often we pass.

His stats from last year certainly look better than he did on the field.

His int% was 2.9 which is fairly respectable.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
