I really hope Rod runs Svech-Aho-Necas come playoff time once we get Tro and potentially TT back.

I could even see a Svech-Tro-Necas line before then too. Once tro is back.

Yeah definitely can't break up Aho and Necas any time soon, their chemistry is just too good. Can't believe how well we've played without TT and Tro. With Necas emerging, Nino producing, Staal producing more offense, etc. our forwards are a much bigger strength than I thought coming into the year, once fully healthy. And with Ned emerging in net and our D group obviously being top 5 in the league, we really don't have many holes this year... Could still use a bit more toughness and physicality in our bottom 6, though Paquette has been a great addition in those aspects and Martinook has been playing better than last year, even if the points aren't piling up. Tampa in the playoffs likely with Kucherov back will still be a monster, but we really should be one of a handful of favorites for the cup this year, and our future going forward is frigging unbelievably bright.

Staal is going to have to step up closer to the playoffs and pull a Williams with a fight and take the two games or w/e. I don’t know who we replace besides foegele(who I think is just slumping offensively) to get another offensive tough guy. I did like nino stepping up to the plate to defend Aho though. Nino strikes me as a cold clocker if he ever actually got in a fight.

Call me crazy but I don't think a guy coming off hip surgery and not having played all season will instantly return to form....

I agree to some degree, but I do think by the time they/we get to the 2nd round he'll be good enough at that point to improve their team, and even without him they're an absolute force. We'll see how it plays out, I'm not scared of the Lightning by any means but they are the defending champs and were 1st in the league until tonight...

    • I turned to the NFL Network and they are playing the Wildcard Game against the Rams I think we gained a lot of respect around the league we hung in there for a while into the 4th Quarter 🙂
    • Does anyone know for sure if the game tonite will be on HBO max?  That is where I watched the last one and only access I currently have- I am in SE NC and no broadcast stations carry the games.😖
    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted by teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  Bryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history of the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying
