If Sewell is drafted before #8...

Honestly, I think Leatherwood is gonna be a bust at OT. I just don't think he has the required foot quickness. I think he'll be one of those guys who is drafted and given a chance at OT but likely ultimately ends up at OG. That's not a terrible thing, but I think that's how you have to value him and kinda already have that approach in mind.

G is his spot.

I hope we address RT this year as well, later in the draft, and develop a player in the event we decide not to pay Moton elite LT money (if he still wants that).  I really like the LT from N Iowa, the kid from Miami Ohio, and Ball, the T from marshall.  Normally, I am against small school OL, but these guys check the boxes.

By the way, I am starting to fall in love with Slater--watch this--that is chase young Slater is manhandling during his first year at LT.

He may be a better fit here than Sewell.

I used to be a porn star.  I am trying to start a new life.  Used to the phrasing, not on a dude though.

I'm intrigued by the Cincinnati kid, but I think he's likely pure boom or bust.

There was a bit of drama in his past, I can't recall what it was about, but I think he is a Mich transfer and did very well as a Bearcat.  Where he might be drafted (3-4) I am not sure the risk would outweigh the potential reward.  I am also intrigued by him.   He could go higher than I project, however.

I think he probably goes in the 3rd. I just don't know that he's a great fit for us due to his bust potential. He'd make sense as a roll of the dice for a better team, but we need players with those first three picks. We don't need pie in the sky prospects.

Like last year, we need 3 walk off home runs in this draft.
I am guessing we draft a LT in round 1, a CB in round 2, and that DT Fitterer keeps ranting about in round 3. Day 3 is all Rhule at the farmer's market.

Which one is that?

No one in particular---but when he talks about needs, he goes OL, CB, DT...I have to think a 3T is the last missing piece--we did not have one last year---just Obada and at times YGM stepping inside.  Not enough.

Oh I thought he went all Marty Hurney and starting blabing about his draft crush.  I got REALLY good at mocking the Panthers the last few years just by reading/listening to Hurney's interviews.  Will Grier...I would have put money down on that pick I was so sure of it.

Yes-how shallow and stupid to compare the two players singularly when Beason and Kalil vs. Revis is the trade....and both sides benefited.  The problem with the Beason pick, however, was that we had Morgan at the time, but it worked out.

Ehh, by then, the Panthers knew what they had with Morgan. Great talent, but the best ability in the NFL is availability, and he was constantly hurt. Six years into his career, and he hadn't played more than 75% of regular season games in any year.

    • It's all about balance in a way.  Guys who can lead with fire in the locker room, put their study cap on when they need to, get game-day laser focused/cool-as-a-cucumber in the pocket when the moments come, etc.  Different moments require being adaptive and perceptive to team and game needs.  Not saying Bryce has or doesn't have those traits required, but from what I've observed he's rather chill on and off the field so certain personalities that can help a team will need to come from elsewhere.  It's been few and far between (but has happened) when his more vibrant and competitive self noticeably comes out of the shell.   Nothing against him though, but having the Smitty, Cam or Luke type personalities can really help with culture and bringing a locker room together - and it can effect play in a good way.  But at the end of the day, that can come from the OL, QB, a star RB or WR.  Doesn't have to be QB - plenty of SB winning examples to show for.   It would just be nice to have some real energy and excitement on this team again.  It's been a massive void for me for quite some time now, hope some dudes coming in like Dionte, XL, & Brooks can bring something in this regard too.
    • I don’t think being taken 1st overall tells Young he is too small. Fans thought so. It is a factor you can’t say it isn’t.  The other guys overcame it. You seem to be proclaiming he will. Your opinion.
    • ZenLeaf CBD Gummies plan needs to anticipate situations in have had difficulties or might have difficulties again this party/holiday season and just to proactively in order to handle them successfully your path. I'd have said. this is not one of many best food deals in town. Unless you have a brown-rice and organic food only mania. They do have some very nice daily specials barbeque deals, ZenLeaf CBD Gummies for that price each and every here (lunch going for $8 - $12), you're better off taking the elevator into the 4th floor food court for really tasty food for maybe even less.
