Panthers trade down AGAIN

I feel like this is how Seattle typically runs their drafts...just trade down and hope to hit on the late round picks.

This is also what I do during the draft in Madden. Why are they playing madden IRL.

Tom Brady...Antonio brown...Latavius Murray...Antoine Bethea...Adalius Thomas...Matt Burke...Terrell Davis...Greg Lloyd...all say hello from the 5th round.

And all of them were a pleasant surprises, not a the basis of a strategy. Big difference here that makes it questionable if they even have a strategy.

I don’t think we select all those 6th rounders.  I think they will be used to move up a time or two in the 3-5 rounds.

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
