gross broken ankle

Anybody know how long it takes a broken ankle to heal? Or is he out for the rest of the season?

I think its about 6 weeks... If we make playoffs, he should be back by that time.

Gross is done for the season. Playoffs are very slim for us. Jordon and TD just need to get well and ready for next season. It seems that every other year we have bad years and in those bads years our Key guys ususal get hurt for the year. Hopefully next year we can go through without big injuries.

Gross was getting beat left and right this season.

Have said this many times since this time last year.

2008 was our best shot at the Super Bowl. We were winning, and had a home game in the playoffs, and we were very healthy.

You need to be good, lucky and healthy to win the big one. And this year we aint healthy, or lucky. I will argue that we are pretty good though.

He was having a tough season, but I was confident that he would have finished strong. What worries me is depth. There is no proven tackle behind Wharton.

he's supposed to be getting put on IR today, though.

i have confidence in the line to be able to pull through. it won't be spectacular but it should be better than what we had that first week.

it's going to take a lucky hot streak to get us in the playoffs anyway. if it's going to happen, it will happen with or without gross.
