If PJ Walker is our starting QB then we will be drafting a QB in 2022.

You wrote that article, didn't you? That's what this is about.

There is no controversy. Sam is the better QB. If PJ started this year, neither of them would be on the roster in 2022.

As far as Minshew goes, he was never going to keep a Starting gig, especially in Jacksonville where Lawrence is basically Jesus. 

I mean, Lawrence is basically Jesus anyway, and I'm an App State/Panthers fan. If the Jaguars can build correctly, by Year 3 they may be stable enough to become a perennial playoff member since they play in the AFC South and have a guy with the highest ceiling since Luck.

The houston Roughnecks had a better OLINE than the panthers do.

Yea....no they did not. XFL guys are the guys that are getting cut when the roster is trimmed from 90 to 53. Those NFL castoffs made up the XFL.

The Jags were the worst team in the NFL last season, they would man handle the XFL all star team. 

Gardner Minshew is leagues better than anything the XFL had to offer. These are facts that need to be realized before spouting off at the mouth.

You can be a fan of a backup and not make statements that are completely based outside of our current reality.

No one has. And no, just being a fan upsets people. The huddle is outraged and it's only a few people who are actually fans. The status quo says you cannot acknowledge backups, period.

      I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?

      LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.

      After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
