Al Michaels career is over

...at NBC, that is -- if the rumors are true.

Supposedly, word on the street is that Al Michaels is "90% certain to jump to Amazon to cover Thursday Night Football" for the streamer.  No word on what cartoon Amazon has to give to NBC to facilitate the trade.

This would bum me out.  I know Collinsworth gets a lot of hate, but to me, him and Michaels work very well together.  And as we've seen, finding a quality replacement is a lot easier said than done.
