Look it wasn’t all that bad.
Yeah the story wasn’t great, the editing was poo. But the acting was pretty good and it answered some questions/elaborated on areas I was curious about. Like now we really know who Junior is and what made Tony, Tony.
David Chase didn’t direct it, I think there was some rewrites and some production issues as well.  At least this wasn’t a series and it was only a 2 hr movie. Could you imagine if that was episode 1&2 of a new series?  We would all be pissed and at least I would feel like I would have to invest alot of time into it.

Take it for what it is…a hyped indie film with some big names attached to it. Couple that with everyone’s anticipation and expectations from the greatest TV show ever. It’s gonna be hard to live up to that that.  At this point, just be glad you got some new Sopranos material in 2021.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
