They had to make this move...

Rhule was about to lose this team with his coddling of Sam... The defense has been tried of losing rankings because the offense can't score or put them in horrible position..

The offensive player are sick of Sam horrible throws that has gotten every player tagged and bad decisions in the red zone...

This seem like the only move they can make.. No other player "available" they could have signed that would walk in day 1 and lift the Hope's and spirits of the team and fan base.. His pictures are all over the place so he walks in that locker room and is instantly respected...no doubt..

And no matter what Cam is a leader of Men and a dog on the field...

Example.. There was a WR reverse play or wildcat play to DJ on Sunday.. Where Sam was a lead blocker.. Sam didn't touch anybody.. Cam would've tried to pancake both the defenders on that play.. That's the instant difference day one...

Sam didn't touch anybody because he had a broken shoulder blade and just coming off concussion protocol.

Are you serious?

Rhule has lost this team.... Even with a better option at QB it will still spiral out of control for the rest of this season. Rhule is not NFL HC material and he is unlikable to say the least. He may get another season as HC, but I wouldn't bet on it.

He hasn't lost this team yet.. They still played hard Especially on defense Sunday...

But he had to make a big move and bow down to Cam for all the baby moves he did for Sam...

If Cam comes in and follows Rhule and build a relationship.. The team will follow Cam's lead..

Bc Sam is a big ass vagina. The popular kid who was forced to play QB bc he was rather tall and semi athletic, who never really loved the game. The dude’s a bitch at heart.

We will see. He’s extremely unlikeable and i would bet the team has lost respect for him.

Unlikable with fans I agree.. What player have you seen yell at Rhule or say anything bad about Rhule??

Like they would. Players are not going to much of anything, you know that.

Players have a way of showing discontent with coaching.. I'll give Rhule this.. I haven't seen or felt any discontent with Rhule from the players.  Fans yes.. But players still seem to be on board..

    • A winning record would be nice, but I still have us winning around the 6 to 8 game mark. Realistically we should beat the Jets and Saints, that gets us to 5 wins. After that, we have to face a lot of potential play off teams and our divisional opponents. I think we’ll win 1 or 2 of those games to take us to 6 or 7 wins, perhaps 8 wins if we can spring a further surprise.  Is that enough progress for head coach and QB? I’m not sure, it will depend on performances and output. That said, it’s nice to be back in a position where we are thinking about the play offs.
    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
