Doesn't Eli have 2 Superbowl MVPs with his Rings?

Big Ben is way better than Cam and INEC.

Rivers much better passer.

That’s your problem you’re basing solely off of passing, as a football player, cam is better than that bunch and hell with that logic we should have traded cam for Flacco 🥴

Not as a football player. As a QB.

A QB like a point guard is supposed to be a Distributor of the ball.

Passing is the number one skill a QB should be judged on.

Rushing, Rushing TDs is just the icing not the cake.

Eli is a weird creature that was not very good in the regular season and found ways to win in the post season. Good on him... But I wouldn't have traded for him at all. Dude was not reliable.  Even considering just passing stats alone Cam threw a higher % of TDs and fewer % of INTs prior to his departure from the team.

But neither he nor big Ben had a single season valued even as high as Cams rookie season let alone his MVP.  Cam had 4 seasons at or higher than the best seasons Ben and Eli had, at least by approximate value of a QBs season.  These aren't values made up by Panthers homers but from a reputable football website.

I think we are just going in circles now so feeling pointless.  We won't agree. Ah well, that's the internet 🙂

The Golden Calf of Bristol below average QB great Football player.

His ego got in his own way.

Great football player?  By what metric?

Dude was not good. Atrocious passer, meh runner. His best season was objectively bad in comparison to every single other QB mentioned in this thread including Dalton and Flacco...

Why do you guys equate Football player to QB?

I said below Average QB. Great Football player.

The guy could have switched positions and been a Taysom Hill type specialist.

Probably could have made a nice Hback or TE. Obviously waiting what 8 years to try with the Jags was a mistake.

The guy could have stayed in the league if his ego would have let him take a lesser role.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
