Playoffs?!?!

Anything can happen, still a lot of football left to be played.

The way things stand RIGHT NOW -- We basically need to root for these teams to lose every week:

Packers, Giants, Eagles, Falcons, Bears, 49ers

If we had won this week, we would be very much in the hunt for a wild card spot, but its UNLIKELY now -- but never say never.

tampa is not a gimmie win...

they are much improved and depending on the spread, i may actually pick them if we are favored by more than a touchdown.

some of you who think it will be easy, might be crying the blues afterwards because it could very easily end up like the bills game.

so you're saying never in million years with the panthers sweep the rest of the season...

...yet 5-1 is supposed to be much more feasible?

I would think that statistically at this point 5-1 is in fact much more feasible than 6-0.

Calling any game the Panthers play a "gimmie" at this point completely invalidates your point. Buffalo and Miami are great evidence that this team can lose any game. Ironically, I also believe they can win any game. It wouldn't surpise me to lose to the Jets and Bucs and beat the Pats and Vikings.

    • I just wanna thank daylight savings time for making us wait another hour for this
    • Predictions from the Observer writers  i am sad   I wish the Panthers had one, just one, game changing hero on their roster …one player that isnt ok with losing …there aren't any Steves,, Lukes,  Cams, Thomas’ on this roster    When  a team has a roster and there isn't one jersey that sells, there arent any heroes if there are, today is a good day to show up   From the Oberser  Fowler: Packers 30, Panthers 20. Carolina will hang around for a while for this one, but the Packers — a legitimate Super Bowl threat — have just too much firepower. Kaye: Packers 31, Panthers 20. Green Bay feels like one of the true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Packers’ offense is dynamic and the defense continues to improve. With a banged up O-line and an unpredictable defense, I’m not sure it matters who is at QB for the Panthers on Sunday. The Packers should win at home in convincing fashion. Zietlow: Packers 35, Panthers 28. I predicted last week that the Bills would win in lopsided fashion. They were coming off a two-game losing streak followed by a bye. The Panthers, conversely, were due for a regression after three great weeks. This week, after refocusing, I think the Panthers will put up a strong performance. I also think Rico Dowdle will get the majority of the carries and that the defense will play much better against the run. The Packers will still win, but the Panthers will leave Lambeau with their heads held high.
