Anyone else just not care anymore?

Uh, I hope all fans care. I'm not happy with the (overall) play I've seen this season, but this is still the home team. I see players that care and some that just wishes to collect a paycheck (some don't deserve a paycheck). We can still make the play-offs, we can still have a winning season. Whether I think we will make it to the Superbowl or not is irrelevant. I still cheer the Panthers on.

I didn't expect a lot this season. I just like watching football.

Me too. I figured we be around 8-8 going into the season. I guess I am more into the season when we are a good team but even when we suck, I'm gonna watch most of the games and of course still watch the Panthers.

At least we have a game against the Saints in which if everything goes like it has thus far we will be playing to stop them from being undefeated at the end of the season. I look forward to seeing us (hopefully) stop their unbeaten streak in the last week.

Some of us care toooooooo much............that's my problem.

Why do you have a problem with how much other people care? You not getting laid enough or something?

Just kidding about the last part, but you caring about others caring to much seems odd... and maybe arrogant.

I still care, but I've also come to terms with the fact that we're just not very good this year. What makes this year especially tough is that we don't have much to look forward to in the off-season without a first-round pick. Either way, we are in a tough spot - no CBA means FA moves to 6 years so it will be a particularly lean year for FA's. On top of that, we will most likely have to let our biggest playmaker on defense (Peppers) walk away with no compensation. I also have a bad feeling that both Fox and Delhomme will be back next year regardless of how we finish this season.

Hunker-down Panthers fans, we may have a long and dark road ahead of us...

Let me break this down for you since you didn't understand it.......

Some of us(Panther Fans) care far toooooo much, to the point that it hurts, which is my problem as well.

Wasn't knocking anybody, was defending our fans and where their hearts are.

Now, STFU asswipe!

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
