Most interesting statement for me...

Trading for a quarterback will cost the Panthers at least one first-round draft pick and will stymie their ability to fix the offensive line this season.

There are a number of people within the organization that know this, and would much rather build it in a methodical way and not give up their long-term investments for a player with a lot of uncertainty. (Deshaun Watson, for example.)

Finally some sanity

It’s either trade for Watson a known top 5 qb (RW and Rodgers are 0% coming here)or keep throwing high draft picks on a qb until we land a great one. There is no trading for mediocre to a little above game manager qbs to solve this problem. We need a franchise changing player.

andy Reid: “Most of these teams that are getting this far have good quarterbacks, that's just how it works.”

stop trying to deal for qbs who don’t move the needle.

Completely agree. Watson likely isn't happening but if it can work out for decent value and he can get cleared to play then great. If not we need to draft a QB this year, give him 2 years and if he still sucks at that point draft another one. Rinse and repeat until we hit on a QB. One issue terrible teams run into is drafting a QB high then sticking with them for 3-4+ years despite them sucking. I can't believe that the Giants are sticking with Daniel Jones, that dude is trash. Just like Darnold.

    • I'd love to see the cherry pick that has Bryce Young as a top 10 QB.  But I mean, if you are going to cherry pick it down to 3 games......then he isn't going to compare to the others if you were to afford them the same cherry pick logic.  His best vs their best is still going to be.....miles apart.  but that's the Bryce Young game at this point.  And if you got to erase 85% of someone's play to make the argument.......that's not a good argument.   I don't see the real gripe to be honest.  I just think he has a low ceiling.  I'm not advocating to bench him, get rid of him, or anything.  In fact, I said, I think he can be a serviceable starter.  He just doesn't have the tools IMO nor has shown enough to IMO to believe he can be much more than that at this level.  Therefore, he isn't a big picture solution.
    • Bryce averaged 208 yards per game with a 61% completion since coming back.  How is that top 10?
