Pickett, Willis, and Corral are not the best QBs in this draft

Corral will win when he is on the field, but he won't stay healthy, take some ill advised risks on the field, take some ill advised risks off the field, and ultimately be more trouble than he is worth. Not a team player imo.

He's just a little on the light side, he's like 10 pounds lighter than Zach Wilson and Teddy B which already look kinda frail playing in the NFL.

Wilson is 6’2” 214. Corral measured 6’1 212. They’re the same size. Wilson may have an inch or inch and half of him.

Given that he didn't run at the combine. I would be inclined to believe he likely doesn't run a particularly fast 40 time. Not to say he isn't still quite athletic but I suspect he isn't as fast as people think he is.

Yeah he ran a 4.37 when he weighed 195. He weighs 225 now and I guarantee he isn’t running a 4.37. He got too heavy guys. Be real with yourselves.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
