I’d agree with this as well which is why I truly believe OSU is a good team. Outside of Alabama, OSU has been the most consistent team at securing elite recruits.

I'd put Clemson right there too. There's a reason why they make up 3/4s of the playoffs pretty much every year.

Definitely not everything. The ball pats (Baker, Howell) and time it takes definitely goes into play for CBs and pass rushers to see where/when the pass is happening/going. Holding it low is definitely a weakness that needs to be cleaned up, but it’s not uncommon to see that at the next level. His footwork is another positive. That’s a pretty good video on what makes him a good thrower. If you get a moment you should check it out.

I've watched that video along with QB school, football scout 365 and Locked On.  Ultimately they all came away with similiar weaknesses as I shared above.

gotcha okay then. I thought were talking about Stroud.

He plays for OSU? We were debating him as a prospect and you responded with how his team has an easy schedule. That’s the full circle. I think all we are saying is no one has really had a tougher schedule so it’s not really relevant. The talent would be the main issue to me not the schedule.

If I’m C.J. Stroud, I’m walking up to Ryan Day, ripping up his offensive game plan and saying…

look at me threat GIF

Penn St has shown they can run with OSU. There’s little room for YAC. The second half game plan just needs to be Stroud throwing 7-15 yard passes to move the ball and don’t expect the WRa to just run away from the defenders.

And please don’t get me wrong. I don’t think your opinion is wrong, just trying to show why I’m high on. You make plenty of valid points as always.

    • Don't forget we only ran like 26 rpo's total or something ridiculous like that. Like the qb isn't comfortable with under center play action, you don't give any pre snap motions or rpo's?
    • No, but I was at an OTA  and I heard Fox make a smart comment to another coach about Clausen, and then Armanti Edwards after he dropped a Jugs punt.   He was bitter--it was his lame duck year and he was not involved in the draft--that is the draft Hurney went solo--tried to trade up from about 47 to 33 with the Rams to get Clausen--offering a future first, according to the Rams GM later.  Then the Colts bragged that they bluffed MH into thinking they wanted Armanti Edwards, which caused him to trade up into the third for a seventh round graded player.   Those were darker times than these.  But I am sure the press was comparing Clausen to Montana and Edwards was going to be the best slot WR in 2 years.
    • And I did not read your username as "Lame Duck."   😁
