That's correct, what an awful game by Florida, but Alabama was much more consistent all season, so it wasn't like this is a huge shocker.

Yea, I didn't expect Alabama to run all over them like they did. 240+ rushing yards and close to 500 offensive yards. I expected it the score to be alot closer then it was.

I'm pretty sure that's the case. I don't know if he would have made that much of a difference. Pretty stupid what he did and what a bad week to make such a mistake like that.

absolutely...probably will be worse unless he falls into just the right situation with the right coaching staff and scheme and a willingness to sit him for a couple years to actually learn the position.

as far as mcelroy....absolutely he is a better pro candidate. the dude is going to really be turning heads next year. no way he comes out early, though. rhodes scholars don't quit school. it would be good for him to learn more under saban. i almost wish we could wait for him but hopefully we will get someone as good or better and smarter.

when he comes out he's going to be ready to start.

The Golden Calf of Bristol didn't play awful. The defense couldn't stop a mediocre offensive Alabama, and he had receivers dropping passes all day.

That mediocre offense ran the ball for 240+ yards, gained almost 500 total yards, and scored 32 points on what was the #1 defense in the land. If that is mediocre, I will take it all day long.

Bama's playcalling was much better today than it had been all season. I may be biased (Bama Alum), but I think today's Crimson Tide is the real one.

One knock against The Golden Calf of Bristol that will no doubt come up is that he hasn't been very successful in leading his team to come-from-behind wins. Going into today's game, he was 2-5 in games when FL trailed in the second half, that is now 2-6. I like The Golden Calf of Bristol, a lot, but whether he's NFL material is hard call, most of the scouts don't rate him very high as a QB prospect. But I like his character, he could be a surprise.
