They've been a fairly consistent and effective offense, final plays of playoff games notwithstanding 😕

The whole "finished second" thing turned out to be bullsh-t.

As to Fangio, he and Reich actually are "buddies" but it's not known whether he's Reich's top target at DC

It was pretty reported by everyone that he was 

 

2.  Fangio was the cream of the crop.  And reports were Tepper was “enamored” with him after his interview for the DC job here. And Reich wanted him too

1. Only a couple of people reported it and it was debunked.

2..That doesn't mean he was Reich's choice

“Debunked” or not.

there were only 3 finalists out of 9 guys interviewed.  And he was 1.  So it’s clear theyr liked him.

 

the whole “Reich’s choice” is interesting. Because Reich himself said verbatim that he and Tepper  want to get the best Staff not just Reich calling up his buddies.  It was reported by everyone that Reich And Tepper both wanted Vic.

Liking him doesn't mean they liked him better than Wilks.

As to "reports", It's been reported that Reich and Fangio are longtime friends and Fangio is a popular guy. That doesn't equal Reich definitely wanting to hire Fangio.

Every name that's been connected to Reich has been speculation. Nobody specific is definitively known.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

      I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol

      Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
