More than likely Sapp is talking out of his ass... but if not we instantly become favorites to land Fields right? #9 and 2 2nds gets it done right?

Sorry…why would the requirement to draft a player that went 12th (in a weak QB class) be a higher 1st and multiple 2nd round picks? I’d offer two 2s and maybe a future 1st and keep #9 and tell the Bears to find a better offer if they want to.

I think Fields can be good…but he threw for 2300 yards and 17/11 TD/INT ratio. He eclipsed 200 yards passing twice all year in his second year. Arguing he’s worth top 5 pick compensation is bananas. Especially if the team who drafted him is admitting they want to start over.

Yeah, and they are going to request a first round pick. So not only do they get Bryce Young, they get a Top 10 pick, if we trade. Yet we get a QB and we need more than just a QB to compete. Then, if Fields doesn't figure his poo out, we are stuck with a running QB who can't read defenses and will be in the same boat two years from now.

Draft Anthony Richardson, develop him into the next Josh Allen, keep your picks, and don't help a Divisional Opponent pile in draft picks to eventually surpass you because, not only do they have a QB, they have the other players that they need.
