Why the fug is this band not more prominent? They have been around for years, yet not much notoriety.

The guitar sound melts my face and the snare snap is sooooo good. The vocals can be compared to Maxx Cavelera I suppose but, so what? I love Sepultura. In other songs they have that heavy crunch. BTW, what ever happened to the crunch, the chug, in metal the past few years? Seems none existent today. These guys found it, held tight to it, and haven't let go. What say you, huddle?

That is bouncy as fug. I dig it. Reminds me of some of Crystal Lake's stuff a tad.

A little bit yeah for sure. I think Crystal Lake used 7 string guitars. Great sound either way.

Umm @Brooklyn 3.0 my man. It does look like a fun party. But what the fug...the vocals had me wondering if I was watching The Grudge. Like he could make that creepy sound from the movie and went...yeah, fug yeah I can sing. Put me in. lol You're right it's no Gutalax haha

Alright so are we all ok saying Lorna Shore's "Pain Remains" is album of the year in metal? Like is there truly a better product?

Mmm good question. The latest Trilogy you mean in 2022? This year has just begun, but I know what you meant.

Yeah man, incredible stuff. I think we all know Will has some of of the most unhinged and impressive metal vocals of...well, this past year, maybe ever. It does set Lorna apart from the others, for good reason.

I might put the 2022 Meshugga: Immutable in that mix.

The trilogy yes but the entire album is what I meant. Confusing because the trilogy is the last part of the album of the same name lol

There is a lot of good metal it's just not on the radio or anything you have to find it.  All genres.  Personally I've been really digging the doom metal resurgence with Pallbearer, Khemmis, Sleep coming back with an album a couple years ago etc.  Elder is good too but it's more pysch in these latest albums but still good.  Also the new wave of traditional metal like Spirit Adrift and some stuff.  Basically all genres have something going on.  I was really sad about Power Trip and what happened there, if you haven't listen to Power Trip's last album it was one of my favorite in recent years if you like the chug.

    • The Importance of Sleep for Weight Loss The Importance of Sleep for Weight Loss Getting enough sleep is essential for overall health and well-being, but it can also play a significant role in weight loss. Lack of sleep not only affects our energy levels and mood, but it can also impact our hormones, metabolism, and food cravings. How Lack of Sleep Affects Weight Loss Lack of sleep can be a hidden saboteur in your weight loss journey. When you skimp on rest, your body’s hormone levels get thrown out of balance. This leads to increased hunger and cravings. Cortisol, the stress hormone, spikes when you're tired. Elevated cortisol can lead to fat accumulation, particularly around the belly area. Your metabolism may also slow down due to insufficient sleep. How Many Hours of Sleep Do You Need? Sleep needs can vary greatly from person to person. While the general recommendation suggests 7 to 9 hours of sleep for adults, some may thrive on slightly less or need a bit more. Age plays a significant role in determining how much rest you require. Children and teenagers typically need more than adults due to their growth and development phases. The Link Between Stress and Sleep (and How it Affects Weight Loss) Stress and sleep have a complicated relationship. When stress levels rise, the body produces cortisol, a hormone that can wreak havoc on your weight loss journey. High cortisol can increase appetite and cravings for unhealthy foods. With a mind racing from daily worries, falling asleep becomes challenging. Poor sleep quality further compounds stress levels. It creates a vicious cycle—stress disrupts sleep, while lack of rest intensifies stress. The Role of Exercise in Improving Sleep (and Weight Loss) Moreover, regular exercise helps regulate your circadian rhythm. This internal clock dictates when you feel awake or sleepy. By sticking to a consistent workout schedule, you're training your body to recognize when it's time to rest. In addition, working out burns calories and boosts metabolism. This creates an optimal environment for weight loss by promoting fat burning even while you sleep.  Conclusion: Prioritizing Sleep for Successful Weight Loss Sleep is often overlooked in the pursuit of weight loss. However, its role cannot be underestimated. Quality rest helps regulate hormones that control appetite and metabolism. When you prioritize sleep, you're not just giving your body a chance to recharge; you're setting yourself up for success on your weight loss journey. Investing time in proper sleep hygiene can lead to better choices during the day. With more energy and clarity of mind, cravings are easier to manage, physical activity becomes more enjoyable, and overall well-being improves. A good night’s sleep creates a healthy feedback loop that supports both mental and physical health. • Introduction to the Link between Stress and Weight Loss Have you ever found yourself struggling to shed those extra pounds, despite sticking to a strict diet and workout routine? If so, you're not alone. Many people overlook a major player in the weight loss game: stress. While we often think of weight loss as merely a matter of calories in versus calories out, there’s an invisible force at work that can sabotage even the most dedicated efforts—stress. Stress is more than just a mental hurdle; it has real physiological effects on our bodies that can lead to weight gain or hinder our ability to lose weight. Understanding this hidden link between stress and your body’s response could be the key you’ve been missing on your journey toward achieving your ideal physique. Let’s dive into how stress operates behind the scenes and what you can do about it for effective, sustainable weight loss. Understanding the Science behind Stress and Weight Gain Stress triggers a cascade of biochemical reactions in the body. When faced with stress, our brain signals the adrenal glands to release hormones like adrenaline and cortisol. Adrenaline prepares us for immediate action, increasing heart rate and energy levels. But it’s cortisol that plays a critical role in weight gain. Elevated cortisol levels can lead to increased appetite and cravings for unhealthy foods, particularly those high in sugar and fat. Moreover, chronic stress can slow down metabolism. This means that even if you’re eating well, your body may not burn calories as efficiently as it should.   The Role of Cortisol in Weight Loss Cortisol, often dubbed the "stress hormone," plays a crucial role in weight management. When faced with stress, cortisol levels spike to help our bodies respond. While this can be beneficial in the short term, chronic elevation of cortisol can lead to unwanted weight gain. High cortisol levels increase appetite and cravings for high-calorie foods. This hormonal imbalance makes it difficult to stick to a healthy diet. Instead of burning fat, your body may hold onto it as a survival mechanism. Moreover, elevated cortisol impacts how we store fat. It tends to promote abdominal obesity, which is linked with various health risks. Understanding the influence of cortisol on your body is essential for effective weight loss strategies.   How Chronic Stress Impacts our Bodies and Metabolism Chronic stress creates a ripple effect in our bodies, disrupting various systems crucial for weight loss. When we experience prolonged stress, our bodies go into survival mode. This response triggers the release of hormones that can lead to unhealthy cravings and increased appetite. Elevated cortisol levels contribute to fat accumulation, particularly around the abdomen. This type of visceral fat is linked with serious health risks beyond just weight gain. Metabolism also takes a hit under chronic stress. The body may struggle to efficiently process nutrients or burn calories effectively during these periods.    Identifying Stress Triggers in Daily Life Identifying stress triggers is essential for effective weight loss. Many people go through their days unaware of what specifically causes them to feel overwhelmed. Start by keeping a journal. Note moments when you feel stressed, including the context and your emotions at that time. Patterns will emerge, revealing common situations or environments that elevate your stress levels. Look closely at relationships too. Toxic interactions can drain your energy and heighten anxiety. Recognizing these dynamics is key to managing stress effectively. Conclusion: Taking Care of Your Mental Health is Key to Sustainable Weight Loss Taking care of your mental health is crucial for achieving sustainable weight loss. Stress can be a hidden saboteur in your journey toward better health, creating challenges that may hinder progress despite your best efforts. Recognizing the connection between stress and weight gain empowers you to make informed choices. By prioritizing stress management alongside healthy eating habits, you set yourself up for success. Incorporate relaxation techniques into your daily routine to help mitigate the effects of stress on your body and mind. Identifying personal triggers allows you to develop strategies tailored specifically for you, fostering resilience against everyday pressures. Remember, seeking professional help when needed is not just okay; it's often necessary for long-term well-being. Embracing this holistic approach means you're not just tackling physical aspects of weight loss but nurturing emotional health too.   Click Here https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383310780_Claritox_Pro_Reviews_-_Is_It_a_Safe_Geniune_Supplement https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383310826_Devil's_Dollar_Reviews_-_Is_It_Legit_Worth_Buying_Must_Read https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383310828_Septifix_Reviews_-_What_to_Know_First_Before_You_Order_it https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383310670_IlluDerma_Reviews_-_100_Safe_Ingredients_Let's_Find_Out https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383156523_Dark_Force_Night_Vision_Reviews_-_Is_It_Legit_Worth_Buying_Read https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383156934_Zotrim_Reviews_-_Is_It_Effective_Must_Read https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383156565_Liver_Renew_Formula_Reviews_-_Does_It_Work_Shocking_Customer_Truth https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383157039_Cacao_Bliss_Reviews_-_Does_It_Workhttp:// https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382150193_Huge_Load_Formula_Reviews_-_Does_This_Male_Enhancement_Supplement_Work http:// https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382183806_WellMe_MenoRescue_Reviews_-_Legit_Women's_Health_Support_Formula http:// https://alphax10ndultrareviews.quora.com/ https://medium.com/@ProstaVive http:// https://github.com/apps/solaris-plant-sterol-extract http:// https://sourdough.com/posts/lost-book-remedies-reviews-it-legit-experts-advice http:// https://www.postman.com/nervesaviorreview/workspace/nervesaviorreviews/collection/37620587-66ad2e4a-ea20-490f-87fa-01b405ed1313
    • It got ugly early and it continued to be ugly. We needed a quick out on D to start the game and a nice, no pressure drive for our guy. He came out swinging while nervous and never settled until it was far too late. It didn't look great and doesn't look promising but it was the worst case scenario to start that game.  When the other team scores on a 50 yard bomb, you're automatically going to feel the pressure to answer.
