Never before offered in its entirety, Falling Waters is 5,200 +/- contiguous acres and the last remaining large acreage tract in Northwestern North Carolina. With a rich heritage dating back to Daniel Boone, it is a magnificent haven with a perimeter protected by natural geography, and totally unencumbered by conservation easements. The interior of the property has been meticulously maintained with miles of trails, paths, and roads, all with grades of 8% or less that provide accessibility to most areas. Rolling hills, five major waterfalls (largest is 180 feet), 20+/- miles of cool water trout-filled streams, several lakes, and miles of top of the mountain trails combine to create wonderful hiking or horseback riding through old timber growth and peaceful meadows, gleaming 360 degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Falling Waters is located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, with 15 to 20 minute travel times to the towns of Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, and Wilkesboro, each offering desirable shopping, dining, entertainment, and medical facilities. Journey to Falling Waters and let your exploration begin.

The state is the only possible player. Anyone else is gonna develop the fug out of it.

The fed government is a possibility too. If I won the powerball lotto, I'd buy it and wouldn't develop it. There's already some cleared land that could be used to build a house on.

Just check your couch. You probably have that in between the cushions.

i had a roommate in college that slept with his shirt off but kept his pants on from the day and change was always falling out of his pockets and sticking to his back so when he was asleep (which was usually a an hour or two before i went into bed) i'd walk in and see him laying on his side and a bunch of coins stuck.

i was hanging out in the dorm lobby and someone asked me if i had any change for the drink machine and i said no, but if you go into my room you can just peel what you need off Robby's back. he thought i was joking but he went in there and got what he needed for the machine.

Honestly though, the price seems like an absolute pipedream. It's kinda in no man's land. Too far from Boone/Blowing Rock. Not close enough to the types of bougie places that are going to attract near nine figure buyers.

when i was in high school i had a couple friends that lived up in purlear. it felt like it took forever to get to their house. there is seriously nothing out there.

That sounds perfect for me. I'd enjoy living without any neighbors around for miles. Someone just give me the 97.5 million. You'd all be allowed to visit, hunt, and fish.😁

    • it's pretty simple IMO.  The Tepper Panthers are the most unsuccessful professional sports in all of sports.  The problem isn't the posters here have changed.  The product dictates the atmosphere more than anything.  In reality, the daily convos about THE worst team in all of pro sports on a fanatics site....is going to feature harsh and critical convo.  Only one entity can actually change that.  It's the Carolina Panthers football team.
    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
