Cody isn't going in the top 10. Sorry...

I'm saying that the highest he can possibly go is 15th to a team like the Jets or Dolphins.

If he fell to us then I'd have to see what QBs are there at the top of the 2nd. QB is far and away the biggest need for us right now and unless we get one in a trade or in FA then I'd want to address that first...even if Cody is there. There is no way in hell I am going into a season with a 3rd round QB, Jake Delhomme, and Matt Moore. No way in hell...

if he falls to us in the 2nd should we draft him? possibly another steal like jenkins.

most boards have him falling to the second or 3rd round hes not that big of a prospect. because hes just a 2 down lineman. he's useless as a pass rusher and scares teams off because of he cant control his weight. but if u wanna stop the run cant beat him. if hes around in the 2nd i d take him.

cody is not going to fall, we need to trade up. desperately, might as well continue to trade away future picks, hurney MUST do it again, and why not? this is their contract year.

The problem with that is when you trade up you rarely get equal compensation. Sometimes it works out okay (2008) and sometimes it doesn't (2009).

As long as Fox and Hurney are on the hot seat, however, the potential for compromising the team's future for the present will always be there.

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
