hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! Suck on THAT beetches!!!!!!

Who wants overpriced first round picks??

Kyle Orton = Jay Cutler

This pickup, no matter what all of the haters say, does make the Bears an automatic contender. You can't stack the box with 8 waiting on Forte anymore, because YES a QB does make a WR better when he's throwing it where the ball needs to be, and the Bears do have options to throw to. I expect Hester to continue to grow in his role at WR, as he was doing at the end of the year, and Cutler has one of the best TE tandems in the league to throw to (a QBs security blanket) as well as a young WR that he already built a rapport with in college (Earl Bennett). With the Bears fortifying the O Line, as well, the Bears offense will be much more potent than those of yesteryears. Cutler threw for some 4500 yards last year and the Bears most passing yards we've ever had was 3800ish by Erik Kramer in the 90's. So, yes, this is a great pickup.

Cutler, Forte, Olsen, and Hester all young guys coming around at the same time could make for a grouping that goes down in Bears history

they're going down in history alright

also what are the bears going to do about their defense now?

everyone is either old, injured, terrible, or named lance briggs.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
