No offense but I’m not sold he is a first rounder.  Doubt it…lacks size doesn’t have very good athleticism either.  He is a good passer so he could be good on a good team.

He is basically the same size as Hartmann and similar skill set

His arm is significantly better than Hartman and he’s 6’2 195. Wouldn’t take much effort to hit 210. And it’s not just me. There’s sites suggesting he could push for QB3 in this class after Williams and Maye.

The idea would be a team in the middle to back half of the first round takes him where he can sit a year to learn an offense and then he can play for an actual good team vs joining a poo team and having to carry the franchise. That’s his path to success.

Agree there, he is a good distributor to weapons and very quick release.  I like him as a thrower.  I mean he is really young so lots of growing room

Duke is gonna be a top 10 ranked team if they pull this off.lol

I don’t think so. I think they’ll be close. But Notre Dame just took an L, this will be 2 in a row and they are 11 now. I’d guess they move up to 12 or 13. Only #10 lost so far, and this would be 11. Would be hard to move them all the way up over a VERY tight win against #11.

Ewers arm is way better than Hartman's. There's a reason why the guy was the #1 QB recruit in the nation. He and Klubnik are both struggling to show that ranking translating but they both show flashes. Hartman is a very good college QB but I don't think he's an NFL QB.

    • Everybody made too much of that. The CBA and the 17 game schedule is what kills the cohesion we see in teams across the league in the opening games.  You decide, look at your depth and make informed decisions there or you get a an extra quarter or whatever two quarters with your ones.  Teams that are set don’t have those openings as much down the roster to evaluate but that ain’t everybody. It is a quandary. I think they need that 4th preseason game back. But as I said, I don’t lay that as the excuse for Bryce to come out looking like he does to start seasons. He has an entire camp.
    • Hey I said the 1pm west coast team, I said the up down up down and we were due for the up week.  You can’t know what is going to happen. There was a guy that detailed why the league would engineer a Panthers win to bring LA Rams back to the pack in conference standings.  Who really knows, and how much real belief do you have when citing these things? I generally have as much as my superstition allows. It rarely rises to an emotional experience. Usually it is more analytical. In terms of interest. When crazy poo happens and we win a game like today I for sure enjoy it.  I mean you have to think about it, how many times do you connect 2 4th and short situations for TDs? Who does that? That is like the most embarrassing thing for the Rams’ defense lol. That never happens and should never happen.  Expecting it to happen might not be a good plan. But it was pretty great
