Our defense is playing really well, down 3 CBs and Jamieson is looking capable, Robinson is looking good at S, Gross-Matos is looking great etc. Rookies and former rejects holding Cousins to his lowest total in years. Why? Because of good coaching.

I was all for Reich, and I was soooo wrong. He is the main weakness on offense. Sure o-line is struggling etc. but it all comes back to him. Chuba starts the game hot, Frank puts him on the bench. Brady Quinn begging for the Panthers to take a shot down the field for three quarters, “won’t happen” says Frank. Setting up 3rd and longs constantly with inept play calling. A good coach can scheme around weaknesses, and Frank cannot. If he insists on continuing to call the plays, I would fire him on the spot, and I don’t say that lightly. It is not Bryce, it is not Ickey, it is how they are used. And that is all Frank.

      when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying

      I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
