Although, I don't agree with Meeks' ranking I do wish we had a coordinator that was a little more aggressive and blitz happy. I'm guessing Fox won't let him. I just want to see what Julius Peppers, Thomas Davis, Beason, Godfrey, Martin, etc. could do under a McDermott, Gregg Williams, Rex Ryan, etc type.

I think that's what Julius Peppers was thinking last year too.....he just doesn't think Fox will let a coordinator be aggressive.

We'll never know any truth to Fox and his coaches. Last year it was said he took over because Trgo was slipping...yet we got our asses scored on like wildfire. This year they say he took over and we improved.

All that needs to be said is we ended up with a good defense. Who cares who's ranked where or why.

im loling pretty hard at Eagles/Steelers/Saints being so high. The same Eagles who gave up a career game to Eli Manning, and just got destroyed by Dallas? The same Steelers who have allowed points on nearly every 4th quarter drive in the past several games(against an absolutely HORRIBLE offenses)? the same Saints who let the BUCS put 20 on them, and have overall been pretty shitty?

He is definitely, but if it is for this year then I just can't agree. They aren't finishing games. He lets his defense give up leads nearly every 4th quarter.

It's amazing how much of an impact one player can have(Polomalu) on the success or failure of a defense.
