I'm all about the post season but I don't think Cowher's the coach that gets us there on a regular basis.

He may not, just going by history...and history tells me that Fox certainly isn't and I don't believe anyone with HIS philosphy will!

I would say the NFC south is kinda like the AFC West, one great team, one mediocre team and two terrible teams every year...with Cowher I have no doubt he can get us to the playoffs almost every year! He did it in a much tough conference with what i consider =/> talent

You guys do realize that Cowher is pretty much Fox right? The only difference is Cowher doesn't have a crush on Jakey jake.

There are a lot more differences than that, starting with back to back winning seasons, only 3 losing seasons, and wins in big games, oh yeah, a defense that was positively feared.

The Panthers defense appears to be doing better than they have for some time during Meeks regime; but, I won't drink the Fox Kool-Aid with what happened in December. I've seen it too many times before.

John Fox = the king of winning meaningless games in December.

Thanks for trying but there are huge differences in Fox and Cowher! The biggest one being he knows how to win, in consecutive years, which is all I care about. There is a reason Richardson wants to model this francise after the Steelers, the are consistantly good...at this time WE ARE NOT!

There have been times, in those seasons when the Panthers were flat-out unwatchable and a laughing stock.

If he makes it, this year, with the softer schedule, big deal.

This team will never win a SuperBowl with John Fox. Write it down, count on it.

Why not? After those two years we will be consitant! Are you willing to wait and see if Jake is our starter next year? Even if he is or isn't are you willing to take one more good year for a possible two bad? Come on stop being scared of change! Its obvious after 8 years we are getting the same thing over and over; win one year, lose one, finish .500 one, win one... I, on the other hand, wanna see, win, win, win, win, win, rebuiding, .500, win win win win, ect!

BTW the above example of win lose i believe what Cowher had in his first 10 years! Yea, I'll take that

Your right, and I am biased, I really like Cowher and his winning attitude! Kinda like Chucky, they both have carisma(spelling)

There are other coaches out there that I also believe would do a much better job! I appologize that I focus on Cowher so much...im just praying :biggrin5:
