Do you think the Panthers will move?

If they move itll probably be to Raleigh. The fans there do a much better job supporting the hurricanes than the fans here do the panthers or bobcats. Charlotte fans are just too laid back and fairweather to support a pro team. I fully expect this to happen when Jerry finally sells the team.

Gman, do you happen to post on the Furman University message board, UFFP?

Move to Raleigh? Where they would have to compete with the 'canes for attendance dollars? Where there isn't a deluxe stadium like the Bank to support an NFL team (which just got a multi-million dollar renovation)?

You know, NHL and NFL seasons run about the same time of the year and length (Oct to Apr, instead of Aug-Feb for NFL), right?

The Panthers aren't moving anywhere.

I think I would know since Im a season ticket holder with both teams. Many cities have an NHL team and NFL and do quite well.

I know I'm kinda new here, and maybe I'm too new to be allowed to say this...but why does EVERYTHING gman says sound so douchey? Is there some way to filter the forum so that I don't have to sift through his excrement while I'm reading what intelligent Huddlers have to say? "I think I would know..."

Douche.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
