Assuming Young flops, then we're looking at the 2025 NFL draft to take a QB. If we hit on that QB, then we'd be looking at 2026 as being possibly a good season if all goes well.

If Young becomes the guy, then we can turn this around as soon as next season.

Now way to know if Young will be franchise QB, but he looks like a bust so far. Fitt has pretty much driven me insane with almost every move he's made since he arrived here. However, the most critical mistake was made by Marty Hurney not trading up for a QB he really wanted, Justin Herbert. Instead we got a DT. That was our chance and he blew it.

My question is is Fitts a bad GM or is Tepper trying to be a Jerry Jones and telling him how to do his job and who to draft .    Richardson stayed away from the draft and let Hurney do his job . At least we made good 1st round picks . Now we don't have one next year .  We should just let this play out and not make any more bad decisions this year .   Young was probably not Reich's first choice as QB but  he has to play what the front office dictates .   We could win more with Andy but the rookie needs experience . Our season is over so just sit back and let this play out .
