I used to think that stat meant something special. Turns out, a fraction of the time… a GWD is really some special thing It is about like when people say a fraction of this or that, but they actually mean a small fraction. 1/1 is technically a fraction. Handing off one time at 14.58 in the 4th quarter, then calling the kicker in… is technically a GWD. Woot. Call the HOF committee. -
There was an article/video posted on here preseason discussing how defenses are evolving the safety position. I don't have the energy to Try to find it (I looked about 5 minutes before giving up). It was back when we were all freaking out about not having a real free safety on the team. I'm not smart enough to go into detail, but the gist was that DC got sick of giving up 400 yards a game and made changes. Hopefully someone out there is able to find it; good read/watch. -
Debating taking the ole private jet for a spin out west and picking up Jeff Bezos, Roseanne Barr, and the guy that played Chunk in the Goonies to catch the game. Depends if they got a good luxury box available or not. If not, heck, I'll probably just catch it home on my couch while my wife complains about me watching it and my daughter asking why she can't watch a Christmas movie on the big TV.
