Clemson is playing well tonight but my god these refs are calling some ridiculous head scratchers tonight

It's ACC refs, man. They're gonna be terrible and most infuriating they're gonna be wildly inconsistent over the course of the game. This conference has consistently had the worst refs in the country in football and basketball alike my whole life.

UNC got the benefit of two terrible calls that could have won them the game if they executed. Those last 2 mins were awful for the heels, could have taken control of the game. It happens.

still, great win against Duke softens the blow a bit and hopefully the team gets humbled and refocuses.

They're just terrible in general. I don't think they're biased against us, they're just terrible refs.

Love beating duke but we can't be so focused on that game that we lose to bad teams before and after. Hell, we're better off losing to duke and winning the other two. Beating duke softened the GT blow but then turning around and losing to Clemson at home for only the second time ever takes all the wind out of the sails of that win. No matter how you slice it we're still 1-2 over our last three and one of those losses is to a sub-.500 overall team and to another team that was sub-.500 in the ACC. We just took two bad losses.

Honestly Clemson has been getting screwed all season with calls.  They played great today and this loss for UNC doesn’t matter much.

If we take care of business we are fine.  Really tough stretch of games for us and we lead the league.

Make no mistakes about it, two bad losses hurts.

I don’t think Clemson is a bad team. They played well tonight and won.

the problem with a lot of Carolina fans is that they tend to overreact and can be irrational. There are what 9 games left?

You are what your record says you are.

I'm not panicking I'm just realistic in that two bad losses hurts.

Trust and believe when the #1 sees are being discussed those two games are going to be key parts of the discussion

UNC got the benefit of two awful calls in crunch time and proceeded to piss the opportunity away in the next three possessions. Got to take advantage of those. Clemson played well and obviously Carolina was still celebrating beating New Jersey State on Saturday. Learn from It.

I need to rant a little on ESPNs bias against the Tarheels…the Duke win was up 20 mins but yet we get this…

Duke has lost games this season as a top 10 team and it’s barely mentioned

#3 Houston lost last week and we saw very little.  Kansas lost last night and again very little coverage

    • If you're looking for a pat on the back it sounds good in theory until you realize they also had the 2023 Panthers as the top draft class.
    • Going into the 2003 and 2015 seasons we were supposed to be the joke of the league each time. In 2003, John Fox was supposed to still be in rebuild mode. We had a guy named Peppers on the defensive line who was supposed to be pretty good. We had Rodney Peete as our starting QB and a line that was a lot of hope and not much experience. Our new running back was a guy the Redskins, errrr Commanders, had jettisoned for being too old. We had a good kicker and writers thought that was needed because there were going to be more field goals than touch downs. Heck, it looked like they were right up until just before halftime of that first game when we had to yank Rodney Peete and put in some Cajun duded whose name couldn't be pronounced. And Steve Smith? He wasn't Smitty yet. Moose Muhammad, well, he was close to being written off as a bust. You know how that turned out. And then in 2015, we had Cam Newton, who was electrifying to watch but hadn't really won anything yet. There was an offensive line in front of him that looked like it was made in a defunct Swiss cheese factory and our big hope on offense was the great Kelvin Benjamin. And then he got taken out for the year with a knee injury in training camp. Ted "Feet of Lightning, Hands of Stone" Ginn became our default go to guy beside our next best hope, yeah, Devin Funchess. Our defense was pretty good, a scrappy bunch with frikkin' awesome linebacker play and a cornerback who had done more than drank the Kool-Aid, but had snorted the powder. He played like a superhero and became sort of a bat-man during the season. By the Super Bowl he had completely lost his freaking mind, though, and managed to talk his way out of a contract with the team next year. No one was expecting us to win the NFCSouth that season, much less almost go undefeated and into the Super Bowl. So, 2026? Who knows? But our best seasons came when no one had a reason to believe in us, except us.
    • it's not so much this personal vendetta against the Carolina Panthers as it is more about Bryce Young never not once been in the same conversation with the top 15 or even top 20 Qbs in the NFL ..just saying
