My thing is.If he lets Peppers walk and he still gets a Megadeal then. What did he accomplish?

Peppers should get no more then 11 million a year that's all he is worth. Peppers is due for a down year let some other team deal with that. I love Peppers but he should of signed that contract a couple of years ago.

The Panthers have been relying on bandaids and duct tape to keep their defensive line through the years because of what they think Peppers is, just like the wide receiving corps with Steve Smith.

Him leaving will be a blessing.

At this point you have to look at the situation as simple as this:

Is Peppers worth over 20 million? I think not. We could get an Aaron Kampman type for half the dough and he's the same age with similar production. I'm not alone when I say Peppers is great, but not as special as advertised.

how can he be worth 18 million one year but not 20 million the next?

do we even have a plan to replace him? also what says he has a down year anyway? is that because all our vaginas are hurt because he wanted to play somewhere else.

funny how peppers is the bad guy in all of this but, jerry basically by his actions is saying that winning with our hard earn money isnt as important as setting an example for the nfl.

also if he doesnt pay peppers , whose to say he will pay other guys huge contracts, beason dwill, td? what happens when these guys contracts come up?

also to the guy who says players shouldnt make as much as owner, that is true. no player does. owners are worth way more than 20 -30 millions.

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
