Raanta recalled from Chicago Wolves

Raanta is already listed as the probable goalie for Thursday's game v. Montreal. I'll be at that game, just like I was at the last one he played and gave up an early OT winner.

And his Chicago numbers? .875 save percentage- one of the lowest in the AHL, and he only played 2 games while he was down. 6 GA in 48 shots.

Raanta  listed as the probable goalie for Thursday's game v. Montreal is good news.

This is an insanely bad move. I cannot fathom the sense in this. I'd rather see Perets get shelled for one game than see Raanta get shelled for more.

    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
