There was zero forensics.  The folks with no money or access to attorney were easy pickings for framing to check the box.

Local cops withheld evidence too.  Imagine how many innocent people died in prison or were executed in that era.

If you give me the option 44 years of freedom or 25mil after I spend 44 years in prison in taking freedom every time.

 

This man has lived most of his life behind bars. That 25mil is nothing at his age. Just sad man.

If he were the only case... but he's not and there's a lot of work that needs to be done to right these old wrongs.
