Who do you want to bring in to compete with Moore?

they are 6-12 when he touches it less.

almost 1400 of his 1900+ career rushing yards were accumulated in those 14 games.

16 of his 20 career rushing touchdowns came in those games.

overall he averages almost 100 yards and a td per game in those 14 games.

Again I ask, why do we need a mentor for Moore? He has spent the the last three seasons behind Delhomme and McCown who has been mentoring him so how much more mentoring does he need?

Agree, I don't think Moore needs a mentor - but I do think we need a veteran insurance policy.

i dont think he needs a mentor and i dont think thats what the FO is looking for. It seemed that one of the reasons jake was cut was to empower Matt Moore. I think they want to send the message he is ready. Bringing in a "mentor" might undermine that.

Mentors don't undermine a players job security. It's actually the other way around. Usually it's the young bucks who come in and create a controversy.
