QB- Which one?

With off-season moves it appears that the Bills and the Rams are the only teams that is prob a lock to draft a qb in the first round.

I dont pay much attention to college football so I only know the bigger names.

This may leave us with a good chance to pick a qb early...should we do this and if so who?

How long can we wait and maybe still get a good qb?

I disagree that the Bills and Rams are the only teams in the first in the market for a QB. The Vikings could swoop in if Favre has a change of heart. I really do see the Redskins taking Clausen. I see them taking Tackles in the 2nd and 4th after that. Campbell could be moved before the season starts. While i am pontificating i will go ahead and make a hypothesis on how the QB's will shake out.

1. Sam Bradford Rams

1. Jimmy Clausen Redskins

2. The Golden Calf of Bristol Jacksonville will trade into the 2nd maybe even using us as partners.

3. John Skelton Bills

3. Jevan Snead Browns

3. Jarrett Brown Cardinals

Dan Lefevour, Tony Pike and Colt McCoy will all be picked as developmental guys but will likely not be picked too early.

I really dont think we need to waste a pick this year, but if we did, one of those guys would help us and would be a bargin.

doesn't make any sense. fox wants to win NOW, not groom a starter for the future - thats a prospect that takes several years. unless some huge name miraculously falls to the second round and right into our lap, it makes far more sense that fox will stick with moore, bring in some free-agent competition as insurance, and use the draft to shore up the critical positions of WR and DL.

    • Yeah, I am just looking at our pass blocking stats and the Texans stats being similar, but our oline is way better than theirs IMO. I feel like there are at least 5 times a game 3+ guys come free on a pass rush for opposing teams vs. the Texans. I can't recall too many times I have seen multiple lineman get beat/blow their blocking assignment on the same play this season for us.
    • I agree Someone like CJ who throws one of the nicest balls and throws with anticipation and everything you want just protect him. He has Nico. All other resources should’ve gone into the OL Now with that said I don’t think Young’s numbers would be very far off from Stroud’s had he gone to Houston  I mean since the whole CJ giving Caleb that post game speech their numbers are pretty similar if I’m recalling correctly
    • That’ great. Smitty was known to have one too. My man Derrick Brown looking like that without the ball in his other hand.
