It’s not a big deal, people are complaining just to complsin.

The majority of QB injuries are lower body or hand related anyway so the argument that bulking up will make Bryce more durable is foolish.

Only Watson and Richardson suffered shoulder injuries last year and they are already much bigger than Bryce so the idea that Bryce

with that mindset then why work out and lift at all?

The man hit the wights and put on some muscle.  I'm not a Murray fan, but he bulked up realizing it was best for his durability.  Again, let's see if Bryce does the same.  He doesn't strike me as a gym rat though.

Serious question. Did bulking up help his durability? I feel like he missed most of last year and the year prior. AR was the biggest QB in the draft and he had a rough start. Bryce needs to add some weight no doubt, but I don’t think he needs to be jacked up huge.

with your logic why does he need to add 10lbs?

I literally said he doesn’t… I said bulking up isn’t going to make him more durable.

Every athlete does strength training, cardio, etc., but for most it’s to maintain a current weight or get slightly bigger, not get jacked like Murray did.

Reread my post and let’s try again.

He looks smaller.  I was told a true nfl weight program would help him gain size

I don't mean to be an asshole but MY GOD YOU ARE NEGATIVE. I don't believe in all the time I have seen you on here that you have ever been positive about anything at all....? Again not being an ass but do you approach everything in life the way you do on this message board? Are you always negative about everything? It's all good man. Yes our franchise sucks and has sucked for a good long time but it isn't worth having doom and gloom 24/7 forever. Life is too short to be that negative all the time.

He missed the fewest games of all the rookie QBs last year and took FAR more hits than any of them.

Not sure why you're still obsessed with his size at this point.

Be more worried about his footwork.

They were hoping Bryce would show up looking like this I guess.......

It wouldn’t hurt him, to be stronger in his lower body, so maybe a finger or two don’t pull him to the ground. Which everyone saw happen.

Some forearm and hand strength for better ball security would be nice.

But this is what they signed up for with him. A physically weak but supposedly mentally superior ball distributer.

    • Things like this happen everyday. We live in a social media driven society where loyalty is a foreign concept.
    • If you draft a guy who is healthy and has no concerns about that whatsoever and he goes out and tears his ACL in his first few games in the regular season on a physical play that's a freak accident. But when you trade up to draft an RB who is already rehabbing from a recent ACL tear and he spends the next several months continuing his rehab only to tear the same ACL again after less than a handful of regular season carries in a non contact circumstance that is no freak accident. That is a textbook example of why you do not do what we did. Particularly for what is now a plug and play position. And when you have the highest paid OL in the league over the next two years. None of that makes any logical sense. Legitimately it is and was some Scott Fitterer type foolishness. Now as for XL. The guy has not been committed to his craft. I think anyone with eyes on the situation can and would recognize that. However the warning signs were there. One season of legit production raw prospect that we knew would take time to develop etc. But Morgan and Bryce Young's own father were very high on him. I think in some capacity the reality of our limitation at QB is entering into the equation. Even TMac got a lot of flak over the course of his rookie season for not being able to haul in all of Bryce's passes. At the end of the day our fourth year QB also needs to do his part to maximize the talent we have available. As far as this year. Again. WR round 1 boils down to where are we going to get the touches for the rookie? That would require eating into not only our 8th overall picks touches but also our #2 WR whom oh yeah by the way was UNDRAFTED. I am happy to discuss WR prospects here. I was thrilled we invested what we did last year in TMac because it needed to be done and it made sense from all angles. But nowhere is it written in stone that you cannot draft a good or great WR outside of the first round. Except in the Panthers building apparently. That is not a good reflection on our scouts and front office let me tell ya. Because there's no way on this earth we are going to get back to relevancy and legitimate contender status if we can't pick some gems in the later rounds. Simple and plain.
    • This is pretty accurate our offense needs more juice. I love Cooker but he’s not enough XL ummm we’ll see this year hopefully the third year WR thing hits him and he plays better but still not enough. Honestly we need look at the Eagles they just adds Wicks and Hollywood Brown to that core. That shows the level of talent needed to compete at a championship level this coming season. And this below is the real problem KC doesn’t seem to add that much to our offense. We Makai Lemon or defense at 19
