Rumors are the priority targets for the team are

Jarvis, Guentzel and Chatfield. Then use the remaining 8-9m to fill out the last 7 spots. If they can buy out KK, they will try to get Skjei back.

Where are you hearing those rumors?  Btw I would love if we got to keep Jarvis Guentzel and chatfield. That’s a great off-season.  KK is toast. Bad contract.  Skjei would be great too.

The article really makes a good point in saying what Most of us are thinking. Gentzel is a top priority and letting Koochie start over Anderson and find Anderson’s replacement is big for us.

Just for the sake of discussion…

Would anyone be interested in Necas+++ for Brady Tkachuk?

Maybe Martin Necas, Jack Drury, Jayden Perron, and a first round pick for Tkachuk?

Jake Guentzel ($8.2M) - Sebastian Aho ($9.75M) - Seth Jarvis ($4.5M Bridge)

Brady Tkachuk ($8.2M) - Felix Unger-Sorum ($831K) - Andrei Svechnikov ($7.75M)

Bradly Nadeau ($918K) - Evgeny Kuznetsov ($3.9M) - Stefan Noesen ($2.5M)

Jordan Martinook ($2M) - Jordan Staal ($2.9M) - Jesper Fast ($2.4M)

Jaccob Slavin ($5.3M) - Brent Burns ($5.28M)

Dmitry Orlov ($7.75M) - Jalen Chatfield ($3M)

Brady Skjei ($6.5M) -Scott Morrow ($916K)

Frederik Andersen ($3.4M)

Pyotr Kochetkov ($2M)

Buyout - Kotkaniemi ($835K)

Obviously a lot of guys would have to take discounts but that could be a fun team.

No to Freddie unless he is ok being the backup and mentor to Koochie

There’s zero chance Freddie is not here next year.

You can’t find a goalie less than $4M on the market and Fred’s buyout would still carry a cap hit of over $1M.

I get fans want to just up and get rid of players but that’s not how the NHL works.

I thought Freddie was and free agent?

I would definitely do that trade for sure. I think he would be a perfect fit for Rod

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
